When I search for wireless networks, my Acer Aspire One 533 cannot find my D-Link DIR-635 router (using WPA-Personal encryption). It is simply not listed. My other laptop can connect to it fine. How come my Acer cannot even see it? My Acer can however connect fine to my other Zyxel router, so WiFi is working.

Under wireless settings your router is set to transmit on a specific channel. This can be adjusted in order to prevent interference from other equipment and routers. I had precisely this problem today and adjusting from channel 13 back to the default channel 6 enabled my brothers laptop to find my router.
