    Disclaimer
I take no responsibility for damage to your machine as a result of you following this guide. These are the steps I have taken on numerous machines to perform RAM/Memory upgrades. If you follow this guide closely, there is little to no risk of you damaging your machine. As with all computer hardware, ensure you have released yourself of any static-electric charge before even going near your computers components. Always work in a clean, static-free environment and on a soft surface to avoid cosmetic damage to your machine.

    Step 1
Turn off & unplug your AAO D250, remove the battery and turn the unit over.

You will see three access panels [See above image]
    Step 2
Using a small Phillips Head screwdriver, undo & remove the screw on the panel in the middle
    Step 3
Use your fingernail (or a similar, flat, plastic edged tool) to pop the panel off the machine
    Step 4
Under the panel you will find the AAO-D250's RAM/Memory Module.
Using light finger pressure, bend the metal spring clips away from the RAM/Memory Module.
The RAM should spring upwards, now slide it out of it's socket.
    Step 5
Slide the new module into the socket and lightly push it downwards until it clips in.
    Step 6
Clip the access panel back into position and re-insert the screw. Tighten the screw.

Reconnect your battery & power lead and boot up your machine.
    Enjoy your replacement/upgraded RAM

    F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: I've followed the above steps and now my AAO Won't boot?
    A1: You've used an incompatible RAM/Memory Module
A2: The RAM/Memory Module you've installed has dirty pins (most unlikely for new modules)
To clean your module's pins, please refer to [T.B.A] thread
A3: The module you've installed is defective - Hey it does happen, even with brand new modules
A4: You might need to update your BIOS version, for instructions please refer to your user manual, the Acer website, or search this forum

Q: My AAO doesn't look like the one in the picture?
A: You're reading a How-To specifically for the AAO-D250 if your AAO doesn't look like the pic, then chances are very high that you do not have an AAO-D250 model
