Sorry for the double post, I originally posted this in the topic "D260 Memory...", but in the interest of making sure my post is better seen I decided it would be best to put it in a topic of its own.

I have a D260. I ran SIW on it, and got a blend of factual/erroneous info--it reported two DIMM slots, 1GB of DDR2-6400, and a max of 4GB of RAM. The two DIMM slots is false, but I disassembled it and verified that the ram is 1GB of DDR2-6400. The only thing I'm not sure of is whether or not it really has a max of 4GB of RAM. Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to buy a 4GB SODIMM if it's only going to recognize 2GB of it (or worse, not boot at all).

My guess is that it wasn't entirely false that SIW detected two slots--the other one probably was the one that normally had memory soldered to it, it just doesn't in the case of the D260. And that being the case, is the max amount of RAM really 4GB, with each slot maxed to 2GB?
