you don't even need a "modified" os like that, or even windows blinds itself.

Its easier, quicker, and less taxing on your system if you use a patched "uxtheme.dll" Simply patch that dll, then download almost any theme you want, and it will work without the need for windows blinds

I'm using the patched uxtheme.dll as mentioned, allot less resourceconsuming and there are loads of themes to find out there
I decided to go for a minimalistic theme, that shaves a few pixels from the taskbar and titlebars, every pixel is welcome on this reso ^^

    screeny of the theme

I like the minimalist theme you're using. Mind sharing the name and URL?

I selected tahoma as fontsize (and i may have added 1 size to the used fonts, not sure if it was this theme or another ^^) it's the best for this resolution imo

I'm using a Nlited version of XP w/ SP3. The resources saved is great and makes it a must for the AAO :). Using Emerge shell and modified uxtheme with some minimalist theme.
