decent burning program

    hey kids
    ok i have got the liteon dvd burner with this thing i run xp on it i installed roxio 7 and it said my screen res is tolow to run the program and it doesnt go to 768 just 600 and nero for some reason didnt see my burner what do you who have a burner for yours suggest as a decent program to run on here .i went to acer and they dont mention anything in particular and the nero 7 disk that came with this is just a advertisement .

    anyhelp in this little endevor of mine is greatly apreciated

    Nero should have no problem detecting any USB CD/DVD burners... I suspect you installed a factory OEM version of Nero, w/c will try to find the hardware that the software came with.... Download the full version of NERO 7, I'm sure it can detect your Ext DVD. Skip NERO 8, it's even more bloated and introduces alot of annoyances.

    It's a great free burning software. Try it !

    It's free, no issues! ;)

    Big fan of CDBurnerXP for these uses. It's free, it's a lot smaller in memory footprint, great for the AAO, and works just as well as Nero. Highly recommended.
