Defrag on AAO ?

    Does the AAO an automatic Defrag?

    I noticed that once in a while it tells you it has improved the extension card. But is there any way to defrag the cards oneselves? The SD-Cards should also get fragmented when you are installing, uninstalling and moving things? and it should slow-down operation?

    any idea?

    no need to defrag flash memory, there is so little access time that it is not worth it plus you are wasting read/write cycles on the drive, shortening it's life for almost no gain.

    Defragmenting is a windows FAT/FAT32 file system thing. The built in windows defragmenter was left in with windows xp/vista because it was easier to to leave in vs having millions of tech support calls for why it is not there. Plus I have never seen any speed improvement even when defragging the worst of drives.
