Defragment and disc clean up???

    Hi , loving the AA1 , does any one know if it is necessary to run a disc clean up or defragment for the AA1 and if so where is it located ,

    Please state which model you are referring to. Linux or XP SSD or hard drive?

    Hi, yeh ist the AA1 with Linux , 512 memory and SSD expandable slot. its running fine but have been using it quite a lot and wondered if it needs cleaning up.

    Don't worry, defragmenting and the likes are a windows thing only. There's no need for anything like that on your Linux AAO.

    What I have read from most SSD manufactures is that defraging a SSD can greatly reduce its operating lifetime. I'm not a Linux user so I don't even know if there is a defrag built it. I think its only a FAT/NTFS type concern.
