Dell 1390 freezing issues? Any other good WLAN cards?

    I am having problems with freezing in both XP and OS X. It works great for about a minute and then hard locks up. I'm going to send it back and go with something else. Is the 1490 a better card or is there an Intel that works out of the box? I just want rock solid.

    Don't lose faith in the DW 1390 just because unfortunately you've got a faulty sample ... :geek:

    I haven't lost faith:) Since I have to get a new card I just wondered if there is a better one out there. If the 1390 I have worked, I'd keep it;)
