I just installed a Dell 1490 (BCM4311KFBG) wireless card in my A150 running iAKTOS v5i, and it now freezes when I get to the grey Apple screen. I've swapped the old wifi card back in, and it boots fine. I also noticed that the Dell card runs incredibly hot. Like, touch it for more than a second and come away with a burn hot. Is there any way I can verify that I didn't just get a bum card short of installing it in another laptop? Is there any way I might be able to fix it? My BIOS is version 3305, if that makes any difference.

    Please help!

Anyone? Has anyone run into this issue before, even with other computers? Can anyone confirm that they got this exact chip to work?
