Desktop boots wrong size for screen

    I just got my AAO back from the mothership, with a new mainboard and memory to correct another problem.

    Now I'm having a weird display problem. It boots up like this (see pic), with the desktop tiling on the screen. You can see the two cursors. The pic doesn't show the black strip down the right hand side, about 25% of the screen. If I drag the cursor all the way up, the rest of the screen scrolls into view.

    I've tried updating drivers and no change. Doesn't do it every time. It seems to be OK if I start it up, let everything load and then "restart".

    Just a guess here as I very, very, very, very rarely boot WinXP on my AA1. Could it be that the screen resolution is set to something other than 1024x600?
