Desktop disappeared!

    Don't really know where to start with this, but hey.

    Got the AAO for Christmas, and I'm really happy with it. Being a complete newbie to Linux, I've stuck with Linpus, just used the advanced desktop hack and through this forum managed to install various bits and bobs like gimp and things.

    My brother borrowed the AAO and decided he would update firefox to firefox 3.. and then remove firefox 2. As a result, my desktop has completely gone. Thankfully all my files are still alive and kicking. I can still run all my programmes using alt-f2. Just the desktop has gone.. all I have is the grey AspireOne background.

    Can anyone help?!
