Well, I got my reconditioned AA1 150-1777 (XL) yesterday and it's great! Insted of the 120GB of hard drive it shows 144GB and the 3 cell battery lasted 3hr. 10min., so that's cool. Everything seems to be up to date and working well. I don't care much for the touch pad but I have a wireless mouse on the way.

What I need help with is, every PC I've owned had a little desk top icon next to the start button so that you could bring up your desk top any time you needed to. Of course the AA1 doesn't. The only way I can see to get back to the desktop is to close out of what ever your doing use the desk top and then log back onto what ever you were doing.

Can someone please walk me through how I can install this icon? Thanks ya'all!

Congratulations on your new-ish Acer Aspire One :)

    I like WinLogo + D myself

    TouchPad:
From my experience be gentle, glide your finger gently across the surface like it were baby skin and this includes a gentle Tap (Click)
Keep away from the right side of the TouchPad unless you want to Scroll.

All the best, woz of oz
