That is the tutorial I used. You will need a program like reshacker to get to the necessary files and it requires editing the registry, but it is not as scary as it sounds. Just make sure you have a backup of your explorer.exe file. The themes are official MS themes, the first one is the Microsoft Embedded theme, the second is Royale Noir. Icons are all freebies from iconfactory.com

Here's mine, nice and simple, although it took me ages to get it "just right"!

I have the 8GB SSD version, 512 MB RAM, blue, with the standard xfce desktop (using Murrine window decorator and cappuccino theme). It's not too exciting, but it's sleek and uses pretty much only the built-in tools. I was previously running compiz and the emerald themer, with cairo dock, but it was too hungry and messed up my video! I'm much happier now :)

awesome backround, windows 7 looks really good.

i was checking out your sig and was wondering..which CS package did you install? 2/3/4 and how does maya run? do you think i'll be better off sticking with XP or is 7 worth it? also have you installed a touchscreen? is it much more user friendly on the ts?

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger Windows 7 is?

i have CS3 installed and runs really good. same with Maya 2008 (intensive rendering is not smart though), only downside is screen real estate. Havent messed around enough with 7 yet but seems just as fast as XP and its still the beta. I do not have a touchscreen.

As for the dock, use RocketDock. If you want a Volume OSD that look just like OS X's then google "3RVX".

Still undecided wether to install Windows XP as a backup solution on the 60GB partition left or just expand the current OS X one. Looking also for a better fit HDD icon.
