How do you get rid of the panel/taskbar. I want a completely clear desktop :ugeek:

Also, what is the weather program you have?

 

by the looks his taskbar is at the top set to auto hide
he then removes the little arrows from the shortcuts on his desktop and places them accordingly
the time-date/weather/batter indicators are desktop widgets(just dont know which ones they are)

Running crunchbang. I was totally loving the conky, but I've installed a touchscreen mod and couldn't figure out how to calibrate it. So now I'm moving to windows 7.

Acer Aspire One D-150 Ruby Red.

Apps.
Avedesk (clock, icons in the middle, battery level and differnt partitions)
RocketDock (mix of icons)
CAD for winamp (mod by me)
Wallpaper (Dolores Barreiro by me)
The icons are removed from desk with a little app called HideShowIcons

Theme: Royale noir from Microsoft

With Ron's Tiny XP installed, runs REALLY fast.

i have had a few issues setting up my netbook all solved by 5 mins browsing here

This is my latest desktop. That's when I boot up to XP, my primary OS being ubuntu netbook Remix.

 

It's a patched uxtheme.dll. No 3rd party apps needed. All you need is the Win7 theme and rocketdock.

 

Oh, to have the money to afford a real mac hehe.

Although, if I had that money I'd go ahead and get something not overpriced like a Mac and pocket the remaining cash!
