Thank you. It is shocking how easy this is. All the images are in the "/usr/share/backgrounds/images" directory. Just replace them with your own. Let me know if you need more info :)

    Windows XP, oh no!

I'd show an Ubuntu desktop too, but my wireless is stupid on that. I'll edit into this post later, I suppose.

    e:
Does anyone happen to know what theme this is? I was looking for a deep red theme a while back, but never found one... so I just decided to go with green.

    Now on Windows 7.

I ditched my Ubuntu install for the moment. Once 9.10 gets released, I'll give it a shot again... hopefully with better battery life.

Yeah... 3-cell kinda sucks sometimes. How much do six-cell batteries cost? If I have the money sometime, I'll probably pick one up.

Ah well. 7's been a slight bit better than XP for me, surprisingly enough. Once Ubuntu 9.10 desktop is available for download I'll try that out again and see how it is... though if it gives me the same issue I'll just shift completely over to Win7. It seems like all available distros were giving me weird battery life, though...
