Mine was from notebooksbilliger.de in Germany:
    Blue, Intel SSD, 2400mAh

because of heavy noise when using earphone output i sent it to Acer for repair.
    They delivered a new AA1:
Blue, Samsung SSD :D , 2400mAh, orange dead pixel  ...
but ok, all my devices have dead pixels, notebook, psp, pocketpc, camera, no chance for me to escape from this dead pixels...

I just got my Aspire One today from Newegg in the US. I got stuck with the Intel SSD. It is really very slow. They have no business selling this machine with this drive in it. I still think it it a good value compared to the eee pc 901 though. I can buy this machine rather than th 901 and have enough money left over to upgrade the RAM to 1.5GB and add a faster 16GB SSD.

I just replaced my existing Intel 8G SSD to the 16G(Intel SSD,I work at Intel, one of the engineer gave the 16g to me yesterday)I performed the read write test,it's just a little faster on writes, not much, but still better than the 8GB one.

Hi. I bought a blue 8gb version from Currys this Saturday and I have the samsung harddrive.

What's the consensus then is the samsung better? I've heard its more power hungry though.

edit - oh I got the 2200 battery if anyone is interested.
