Has anyone ever direct connected via a regular ethernet a Linux (One) with an XP machine. I have a wireless network at home with no problems using cifs to mount my XP in Linux, however i want to take it to work and connect with my XP machine avoiding any interaction with the network. I know it is possible with Windows using Wipeer (i believe currently not supported in Linux) or a crossed ethernet cable. Is the same possible with Linpus Linux?

    Cheers
