Directoy of Linux Kernel Source Code

    i tried to install a program and the install script ask for a Linux Kernel Source Code Directory

    i tried /lib/modules/2.6.23.9lw/build
    but the script told me no directory found
    were can i find the Linux Kernel Source Code on my One

    In normal Linux distros it is in /usr/src Try there then...

    i found only that in /usr/src/

    [user@localhost ~]$ ls /usr/src/redhat/
    SOURCES SPECS
    [user@localhost ~]$ ls /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/
    gtkhtml-3.10.0-im-too-late.patch
    gtkhtml-3.11.92-chain-finalize.patch
    gtkhtml-3.12.3.tar.bz2
    gtkhtml-3.3.0-crash.patch
    gtkhtml-3.3.2-imcommit.patch
    gtkhtml-fix-indic-navigation-129212.patch
    print-font-gtkhtml3.8-fix.patch


    i am just talking about the default OS (Limpus Lite) on AAO

    What app you need to install? It's easier searching the binary version (app-version-buildfc8.rpm) instead building from source.
