Hey does anybody know how to disable the hibernation feature on the linux version of Acer Aspire One? I need it to stay on while its not being touched. Thanks.

First of all, as far as I know, there's no hibernation feature in Linpus version of AA1, but just "suspend" mode, that means that memory and other components keeps draining battery power while the little thing is sleeping. You can let it in "suspend" mode just a few hours and, when you get back to it, it's simply dead. In hibernation mode, all the power supply is shut and no power consumption happens, except the normal, passive battery draining.

All this said from my perspective as no expert at all in Linux, but many years as Windows user.

    Regards

To disable autosuspend, click Settings, Power Center, Auto suspend, and clear the "Enable autosuspend" box.
