I would like to disable the "SSD write caching" but the option (accessible via Disk c: - Properties - Hardware - Policies - Enable write
caching on disk) is disabled (grayed out) so I have no possibility to change it.

Any idea or any hint for the registry setting?

....found the registry setting given by Sean Liming it in another forum...

    Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\IDE\<HardDiskDrive>\<SerialNumber>\Device Parameters\Disk
    ValueName: UserWriteCacheSetting
    Value: 0 - disable 1-enable

    havent't googled long enough ;)

Mine was grayed out too. I followed the registry guide you kindly posted and it seems it's already set to 0.

So I guess i'm ok. I'm using tiny xp rev9.
