Disabled auto login now this....

    So I followed the instructions here (viewtopic.php?f=39&t=363) and everything worked like a charm despite my noobness with Linux. However, now when the login page is reached the machine reboots as soon as I touch a key or the mousepad, the next time the login page is reached it's all good. In other words it seems like every second time the login page comes up any key reboots the machine?!?? Any thoughts?
