Dismantling the AAO 150 (Hardrive Version)

    All the videos and guides I see are dismantling the SSD version. Does anybody know where I can find any videos or guides (videos preferably) dismantling the HD version of the AAO? What are the differences in dismantling a HD version?

    Not much difference IIRC, at least until you get to the internals.

    just at the point where you have to get to the HDD, it's hard-connected to the motherboard (not via cable). I ended up removing the wireless card as well as the small daughterboard that has the 2usb-sound connectors as well to flip the board up to acccess RAM slots/HDD.

    Here is the safest and best approach, IMHO:

    You need a Philips's screwdriver and a credit card. The credit card is key to detaching the keyboard without damaging anything.
