Display Settings / Tv link

    Hiya,

    Been a viewer of the forum for a short while and have picked up great hints & tips. ;)

    I now have an issue that Ive not found the cure for. System is original set up, trying to connect to TV via cables purchased from ebay, PC to Scart and PC to Component. Have had no success so far, and now going through Display Settings, Display Preferences the options are greyed out. Its stuck on Show my Desktop only on built-in dislplay, this orginally showing, Show my desktop on All Displays.

    Any ideas how to rectify, tried rebooting but to no joy!
