I was wondering if anyone has come across some semi-decent DJ software that would allow one to mix MP3s on our Linpus powered beast.

    Many thanks in advance.

I have heard of a linux DJ program called Mixxx. It is available for Ubuntu, not sure about availability for Fedora though.

if you google "linux Dj Software", it should be within the 1st five results.

    hi
for my parties, i just use xmms + crossfade plugin . Xmms is the linus version of Winamp (the 2 series).
It's easy and straight forward. I have tuned my crossfade plugin for a smooth transition between songs and for quasi undetectable skipping.

Take note that I had to enable another repository than the default fedora one, because of some mp3 patents.
    Hope it helps

PS: xmms won't do djs' tempo synchronizations.
