After installing OS x on my AAO i realised that the @ symbol is located just to the left of my enter key?

Is this a American keyboard? It was purchased from play.com in the Uk.

My Uk MacBook Pro has the @ symbol on the number 2 key.

The macs have @ on the 2 key because they are still originally designed for US whereas the One has a true english keyboard with all the characters in the correct place.

sure fire way of confirming if it is a UK keyb

the £ sign is shared with 3 key, and the € sign shared with the 4/$ key
