Do They Fix Dodgy Fans?

    My fan has started to make the apparently infamous annoying crunching noise. Now, the computer still works, but the noise is very annoying and it doesn't sound healthy, I don't want the fan completely dying on me.

    It's still under warranty, so would they fix it if I sent it in, or would I look stupid because it's not a 'major' problem?

    No, since the fan failing IS a major problem. If you don't want to fix it yourself by disassembling your AAO, you should send it in. A failing fan should be covered by the warranty.
