Do you like your Acer One?

    I've had mine (Linux, SSD, blue) four days and love it. I have found the trackpad to be quite accurate and I never use the buttons (tap to click, tap lower right to right click, double tap and hold to drag, horizontal and vertical scroll -- all work perfectly). The battery life is about the same as my HP dv5220. I have a 12-cell battery for my HP and almost never use it because 2.5 hour battery life is more than enough for my particular situation. There is a bit of fan buzz, but not annoying (and I think I'm particularly sensitive to noise). Don't know whether I have the slow or the fast SSD (how do you tell, by the way?), but performance seems pretty snappy to me for the kinds of things I do. The screen is fantastic.

    Funny about the trackpad; that and the screen were, to me, the two most impressive things when I looked at the display model in the store. Just personal preference, I guess.
