I have dual-booted my Aspire One with XP (it came with it) and DOS. I have tried to run two games in DOS, and both have blackscreened or otherwised crashed as the game initially loaded.

I have no idea why I'm having crashing problems. I've dual-booted DOS/XP before and never had any problems, but this was only on desktops, not a laptop, let alone a netbook.

I was thinking that maybe the touchpad is interfering with the games. So, I've been trying to find DOS drivers to support my touchpad in DOS. I discovered syntouch.com, but it did not detect my touchpad when I tried loading it into my autoexec.bat. Anyone know how to get the touchpad working in DOS?

HAs anyone here tried putting DOS on to an Aspire One? Maybe there's just something obvious I'm overlooking. Any help is most welcome in preventing my DOS crashing problems.

I require a native DOS setting. DOSbox is inadequate for my needs.
