    I'm not going to get up off my tail and check, but I wonder if the soft side of self-adhesive velcro is too thick? The texture would be nice, and keep extra fingers off the pad. The problem for me is that I'm always, and I do mean ALWAYS, getting two fingers on the pad, and gesturing for magnification or reduction. Can't find where to turn it off in the pad software, either.

    I guess people interested in this topic are after case mod glam, knowing that they can use the Synaptics control to set "Tap Zones" for the corners of the touchpad to replicate mouse buttons, etc.
