I have a 751H-1948 model with XP operating system and z520 chipset. Also have the freezeup problem that is common to this model.
In Device Manager processor driver version is showing as 5.1.2600.0-4/1/2009 Display adapter is showing as 6.14.11.1009-4/28/2009
Acer website is showing newer versions of these drivers and even though it probably won"t help I want to update the video driver before I send this back to them for repair. Do I want the chipset driver or the VGA driver from Acer website? Or would i be better off updating the drivers through Device Manager?

    Thanx

I would pick the chipset. Since that most likely seems like the culprit.
