My sister just got the Pink acer and wants to put Linpus on it. I have the 8 gb linpus version so I have the linpus recovery disk. I would like to set up the xp computer to dual boot both, would that be reasonably possible and if so how would I do it?

Also- does the xp version acer come with a recovery disk? I was wondering if we lost it or if it just never came with one.

Dualbooting will work fine. I dualbooted XP and Ubuntu. To install Linpus, download Unetbootin (Google it), plug your USB-stick in the computer, start Unetbootn, choose Linpus from det list, and press OK. Now It will download Linpus, move it to your USB-stick, and make it bootable. After it's done, press "Reboot now", and press F12 when it reboots. (When the Acer thing pops up). Choose the USB-stick, and boot Linpus.

About the XP recoverydisk. I didn't get it either. So i don't think it's in the box :p

    Thanks for the replys.

I've tried many things but all have been dead ends. I made a usb recovery stick for linpus(from the cd that came with my computer). I made sever partitions with EASEUS Partition Manager, but when I try to boot from the usb stick and install linpus it doesn't show all of the partitions...the only option is the use the whole disk.

I also downloaded the linpus iso from the link provided by oninjao, but when I try to boot from the usb stick with that on it, either it just boots xp or it gets error 17.

Say how about what I did, I installed Virtual Box under Windows XP and run Linpus as a virtual machine. Works.
