    Hi everyone!
I have been thinking about this for a while, and i want to try it out..
Can i dual boot Mac OS X with my Vista Home Basic? If i can, can i boot it from SD card?
How would i get around the problem of installing it since there is no CD drive, or would i use my pc to install it onto the SD card, then plug it into the AAO to finish the installation?

If i cant do it with Mac OS X, what can i do it with?

    Thanks,
    Daniel :)

I did it on my old eeePC with W7/MacOSX and it was a pain in the ass to do! Google eeemac and see if that helps... the problem will be drivers for the GMA500 graphics... fairly sure they aren't supported in MacOSX

Hi, right, thanks for that, all i need to do now is to go and get an 8GB SD card, and ill be on my way.
    Again, thanks,,
    Daniel

EDIT: After a little bit of reading I discovered that Apple do a "bootcamp" where you can install Windows onto your Mac,
Why couldn't Windows have done something along the same idea, just the other way round, so you can install Mac onto your Windows?!

I think because it is a selling point for a Mac to be able to run the tonnes off ice stuff for Windows - but not so much of a selling point for Windows laptops to run the specialised music software and design software that Macs have. Also Mac have specific hardware controlled by Apple - therefore drivers may be a problem unless Apple plays ball - which it wouldn't as people could use OSX on a cheaper piece of hardware. That's why Apple theoretically make it illegal to have OSX on anything not badged an Apple (which people are quick to say means bung an Apple sticker on your mini Mac and voila! - Dunno how that hold up in court though.)

    bump!
Im going to a radio rally tomorrow so this is the chance to pick up an SD card, i will need at least 8GB as the install is 6.70GB. :)
I have got Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.6 sitting on my computer waiting to be converted to .iso and installed. ;)
Its strange that my upload speed is higher than my download speed

Anyways, ill post back tomorrow to tell the forum what i have done,
    Daniel :)
