I'm interested in a step-by-step manual of how to dual boot a aspire one d250 (with Xp) to further have a linux distribution.
I've heard that Linpus works pretty well on aspire one.
Is there somekind of manual for this?
Or perhaps it's best to install kubuntu or so which has very detailed mannuals...
    Thanks in advance.

google a program called gparted to create a new partition

unless your gonna start fresh with a new win xp install when installing delete all partions and create one for your win xp install and create a new one for future use

and when creating a new one remember 1000mb=1gb so if you wanna install linux or whatever if its asking for 5 gb set it to 5000mb etc

and when installing your linux distro choose to install on your empty partition not your win xp which is usually c:\

usually how dual boot works say you have a 160 gig hd and want to dual boot win xp and a linux distro
when creating new partition create one part to 80000 and the other the same so you give each partition 80 gb of free space you can also triple boot you can create a 80 gb win xp 40 gb linux and a 40 gb say mac osx
