dumb question- model #

Just picked up a used Aspire One, model # listed on box and bottom of unit is D250-1042, not AD250-1042 as I see everywhere I look. Acers site does not show my model #, but the same with the A as the first character. Hardware seems to match, just wondering if this is a different model, or some slightly different feature.
