DVD/CD drive choice

    Hi folks,

    I'm brand new here. Just waiting for my new Aspire One to arrive and I have a question;
    I know that I want to add a DVD/CD writer/drive - is there a suggested choice to use with this unit? I will have the 512 ram/ 8GB flash without XP. Thanks and looking forward to using the forums...

    Just get any of the cheap eBay USB ones - got my DVD-RW two years ago and it's worked fine on multiple computers since then. Just choose your budget and you'll get CD-Rom,DVD-Rom, DVD-RW or if you're really rich a Blu-Ray RW !!!
