DVD RW drive doesn't burn CDs.

Hello there, my DVD RW drive does't burn any CDs, though it reads. I've one installed Clone Virtual Drive and then I found that there is no optical drive icon in my Win 8.1's This PC window; thus I uninstalled Clone. Now the drive has come back to This PC and reads --although opening the CD's entry slowly-- but it doesn't write. Can any kind body help me?

If your not using ccleaner then it's worth downloading it, run the registry cleaner section
in the program you may have some leftover files from Clone Virtual Drive
that's affecting your machine.

One dvd burner program that works and is very simple to use is called “any burner”

If you still have problems then you may need to uninstall the dvd driver file in the control panel then restart your computer.
