I wan't the folder which contains the e-mails to be on the sd-card from my wifes aspireone.
In outlook express you can give a new path to the place were you wan't to store the files but the Ok button is grayed out.
If i choose for a folder on the internal ssd it works. Any one a solution, my knowledge of windows is to little i never use windows.

    Hi,

You can install thunderbird portable in the sd. (This is my configuration. Indeed, since I have the SSD version, most of the applications I have installed are portable versions installed in the SD card).

With Thunderbird portable, both the program and the "e-mail messages" are in the sd.

It has the advantage that if you remove the sd (or usb disk) and put in another pc, you can also run the thunderbird portable in that computer.

A drawback is that if the sd card is not very fast, thunderbird is not fast (f.e. I deactivated the spam filter, since my server already makes a spam filtering).

    Regards
