I just got a 2nd hand A110L, 8GB SSD. I have set it up to automatically connect to my wireless router, it has been doing this fine.

Then I added elevator=noop to /boot/grub/menu.lst and after that every time I boot up it asks for the router password to connect. I removed the elevator=noop and it now connects fine again without asking for my password.

Is there a way to have elevator=noop and also not have to input my password each time?

    Thanks,
    Simon

I can't imagine of any valid reason why elevator=<whatever> could influence your wireless...It sounds like it does, but I have not the faintest idea why this could be possible...
