    Can any one help me please cannot recieve or send email on my aspire one with linux I am with Virgin and on my other computer no problems.

    Assuming you can connect to the Internet otherwise from your AAO (so you can browse websites and so on), then the problem is likely to be somewhere in your settings.

    I've just tried adding my VM account to Acer Email client, and it went through with no problems; I'm ex-NTL. The process was:

    1. In the mail client, select Tools on the menu then Account
    2. Click on 'Add' on the dialog which comes up
    3. Enter the details on the first screen (Full Name, Email Address, Password) & click 'next'.
    4. Acer Mail makes some guesses as to server details; they are not quite right. The incoming server should be pop3.ntlworld.com and the outgoing smtp.ntlworld.com. Correct them.
    5. Click 'Next'; the software verifies the client and you're done. Click 'Finish'.
