Just so it is stated somewhere.

Japanese mobile Internet carrier Emobile sells several 3G modems to go with their service. One of them is a Huawei D21HW (which would seem to be what is known as e180 elsewhere, only that that one is supposed to have a Micro SD slot by what I read around, and the D21HW does not have any -at least without unscrewing-).

I just want to report that it works just fine with Mobile Partner, Huawei's own 3G internet connection software that came with the automatic online updates on the stock Linux Linpus on my Acer Aspire One AA1 110.

In order to configure Mobile Partner, I just copied the values from the screenshots of the Windows and Mac versions in the instructions booklet.

Emobile does not advertise it does work on Linux, and will probably give no support.

    There.
