Empty Compartment?

    I have an Acer Aspire One. It was reconditioned. There is a single compartment on the bottom of the computer. It is empty. There does not seem to be any ports/connectors in it. What is it for? What can be put into it? :?:

    Covered thousands of times in the forum. That's slot for 3G modem. If it's empty you do not have 3G capability build-in to your AA1...
