Enable filesharing

    I am trying to enable 'shared' on my files/directories.

    Right click under the file manager and there is no 'share' tab but if you use Dolphin and right click then there is a share tab, however clicking on it it asks for a root password (which i give it) but says you need to be authorized to share folders.

    can someone help me? all i need is sharing enabled
