This will help you find some of the packages you may need. Although you do not need to add the repository directly and can just search the site directly it does make the process of finding packages much easier.

    To Add The Repository
    1)Click This: http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/ ... noarch.rpm

    2)Install with the software installer

3)Go through the normal installation process and that is it.

Now your add/remove software tool has a larger list of software to draw on.

Or you can simply go to their site to view which packages they have: http://freshrpms.net/

    Re: Enable FreshRPMs Respiratory

If I run upgrades on installed packages from this repo, do I risk wrecking my Linpus install?

If you blindly run upgrades from anything but Acer LiveUpdate you risk wrecking your Linux. Personally I only run updates that some suck... adventurous person has verified first.

Quite true. I think the problem is Linpus makes its money leeching off other peoples work, so when you try to upgrade one part of your system the upgrade assumes you are on a different sort of linux.

you just need to take care.
I only avoid updating installed packages that have "lv" in it's name.

    Re: Enable FreshRPMs Respiratory

Repository and respiratory don't really seem to be easily confused words, but the OP was consistent. I wonder if English isn't their native language, or if they just can't spell and kept using some sort of auto-fill feature, without bothering to verify that it's the right word?
