Hello, all. I have a 3 year old Acer Aspire One 8.9" with the 8 Gig SSD and 8 Gig card for 16 total Gigs. Running Windows XP.
I use this netbook once a year. Today, April 19.2012, I powered it up. It started OK, then automatically downloaded updates. (No idea which ones.) Then, I restarted the computer and it won't boot up. It's in an endless loop of checking files and discs. How do I get out of this endless loop? Is there a series of function keys or something else to get me computing on this thing? Thank you in advance.

Never mind, folks, the question is moot. I sold the offending computer.
