I've downloaded the et-linux-2.55.x86.run file with a view to installing it as I play it a lot on my PC.

I've tried executing it in the shell - entering the root password when asked but it fails with a line 143:26867 Floating point exception - setp program seems to have failed on x86/glibc-2.1

I have a 1gb AA1 which is pretty much out of the box. Any gurus out there that can help me?

    Cheers

    Richard

I've fixed the problem myself - the answer is to download the full install for 2.60b, not 2.55.
