I have an Acer Aspire One 532h-5288 with Bios version 1.25. I had to install Windows 7 Ultimate for certain networking support features. This required a flat install of the OS. I installed all drivers and the launch manager (latest versions from the Acer web site). I also installed Epower Management from the backup disk I created before I did the flat install. According to MSCONFIG, both the Epower program and services are running. However, I don't see any way to access the utility in either the start menu, control panel or system tray. Running the various executables in the program folder does not seem to do anything. Does anyone know how to access the Epower Management utility? Thanks!

Did the machine come with Win7? or WinXP? It could be a case of the ePowerManagement program being designed for WinXP and not needed for or compatible with Win7.

I know my D250 came with XP but runs Win7 fine without any power management proggies.

The machine came with Win7 Starter Edition. Epower Management is required to use the Fn+F2 feature to turn off wi-fi, otherwise I would not have bothered with it. I believe the D250 has a hardware switch for the wi-fi adapter so the same issue would not apply. But now that I am required to install epower management, I would like to be able to figure out how to see what it is actually doing.

One on my friend has the same laptop.
For what I remember, I had to install the LaunchManager FIRST and reboot.
THEN I installed ePowermanagement and rebooted.

I found that if you change the UAC setting (like, ON when installing, OFF after or vice-versa), it stops working and have to be reinstalled....
