I am thinking of putting Windows 7 on my AAO. I have two questions:

    1. Can I put windows 7 on the Acer C: partition and not effect the pqservice partition which I'm assuming is the eRecovery partition?

    2. When I try to boot to the pqservice partition during post, (Press <Alt> + <F10> during POST to boot the system from the hidden hard disk drive
partition and access the hidden partition main page.), all I get is some loud beeps. It never boots to the hidden partition. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

    Thanks,

    Tom

NETbooks that are shipping out with Win7 installed have what is called a "lite" version of 7. A number of major features are disabled or not installed at all but I have no idea why they would do that. Many people are running full blown versions of Vista including Ultimate with no problems and Win7 is supposed to be less resource hungry than Vista. Not sure about the boot problem into the eRecovery hidden partition. Keep searching these forums and I'm sure someone will answer you, or you will eventually find the info you are seeking. Has always worked for me.
