Erratic mouse behaviour with Linpus

    I have searched for an answer everywhere so forgive me if it has been asked before.....

    I Can't get any mouse to work without the pointer behaving erratically and jumping about the screen, I have tried 3 different mice and I get exactly the same problem with them all.

    I have tried changing the mouse settings and re booted but nothing seems to improve it.

    Is this while typing? If it is, try Fn+F7 to disable the touchpad. They are sensitive, and the lightest brush while typing will have very irritating effects, such as you describe.That gave me fits for three months on the fiance's full size.

    Hi,

    Have discovered it will work with the mouse speed set at minimum with a good quality wireless mouse, the cheep light mice I have will not work at all, I can't get the sensitivity settings low enough for them to be usable.
