    Hi all,
One week back i have purchased netbook ACER ASPIREONE HAPPY with Linpus moblin as OS,Intel Atom N550 processor,
    2gb DDR3 ram,250gb harddisk space.
It was working well.please read my problem sequentially.
Step1)I have tried to install WIndows XP from USB but Drive was unseen.
Step2)Then I have used tool called "Gparted" from USB and converted the partition into NTFS so that i can install XP.
Step3)Even after converting to ntfs my XP installation has not recognized the drives this time too.
Step4)Then i have again tried to restore the OS by pressing ALT+F10,it was not restored and the black boot screen is appearing showing "Error22".
I understood that i cooked up partition/bootfile/MBR.
I dont know the problem exactly.
Because this netbook doesnot have cd/dvd drive i am unable to solve my problem. :?:
Plz i request you all to suggest solution for the problem.
    Thanks in advance.

When you used Gparted did you format the drive or just the partition?
Do you still have the partition PQSERVICE?
Maybe you could use a Windows boot USB device to go into Windows repair and use it to repair your MBR? I currently no longer have XP but if I remember right you should be able to create a boot USB drive from any working XP system and then use that USB on your AAO. Of course if you do not have the PQSERVICE partition you will not be able to use the ALT+F10 method and even if you do it may not work because I believe there are instructions in the MBR that tell Windows where or how to look for the PQSERVICE partition. If you have access to another computer running Windows you may try.....

or you can physically remove the drive from the AAO and install it in another computer and then use the other computer to install XP to the AAO drive but before you do that be sure to download the drivers you need for the AAO from Acre.com.
