Ethernet controller

    HI , have a Acer Aspire One aoa150 ab with Intel atom cpu n270
    just installed XP Pro and all the drivers , but have one item in device manager still at yellow question mark.
    Its the "ethernet controller" . I also cannot get a web site up even though it is linked to wi-fi ok.
    are these 2 problems linked, if so how do i fix please ?
    also if it can can anyone suggest a good windows security , already have Norton running on 3 laptops , dont want to buy it again.
